We will be working on strengthening digital methods in humanities research at Huygens ING. Between October 2009 and September 2017, I was a researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. You find my public PGP-Key here. Since 2017 I am a Software Developer and Senior Data Scientist at Semalytix GmbH. From June 2012 until November 2016 I was a Research Associate and PhD student in Prof. My major research interest lies in the area of computational linguistics, computational semantics, with a focus on ontology-based natural language understanding and question answering. In this time I worked on the project Kognihome.

The third NLPDBpedia workshop is going to take place in conjunction with the 14th International Semantic Web Conference 2015. The data contained in Wikipedia and DBpedia have ideal properties for making them a controlled testbed for NLP. HEEEEELP we moeten bijna naar huis! Helaas, het einde van onze stage in Suriname is in zicht. We kunnen het niet geloven dat de tijd zo snel is gegaan! Gelukkig gaan we volgende week nog 1 dagje naar de school om afscheid te nemen. Vandaag gaven we een doos vol materiaal voor de school af. Toen het schoolhoofd al een kort dankwoordje gaf, kregen we al de krop in de keel. Bedankt lieve ouders dat jullie ons deze kans gaven.
