Life with two children at my heel. Winter is here, my first semester back at university is winding up, the children are growing. This morning we caught up with friends at the park.
Adventures in Sewing a Handmade Wardrobe. So this is both a win and a fail. I made a dress for my daughter. In my defense, it was already cut out and little girls only stay a size 6 for so long. The pattern is Urban Princess by Olive Ann Designs.
So my ankle has delayed the start of a healthier lifestyle- mostly due to not being able to carry anything or exercise. Have decided to give myself two more weeks before I start.

I noticed that the web site stated " Last week, the first day of spring brought a lot of promise that warm weather was heading to upstate New York." They also stated " That morning we awoke to rain and most of the snow had melted during the night. Of course it was only 33 F outside so walkways were icy, but it was a nice change from the blistering cold that consumed our winter.
