What do you do when you are taken out of the run and survival becomes your daily chore? How do you define living when it was so completely defined by the one thing you can no longer do? Well, there is that but my writing.

Or maybe adverbs are like salt, in that they go with many things, but only in moderation. This metaphor makes more sense to me. Salt is less necessary than sprinkles. This post was nothing more than an excuse to compare adverbs to various sort-of-food items. You may now go on with your day.

Monday, May 5, 2014. Virgin Marathon - The Race. Where did the time go? I thought I had more time. Excited would be good, nervous will make me constipated. These thoughts ran through my mind the night before my first marathon. Self doubt knocks on your door.

Loving the challenges that life is throwing and learning to deal with them every day! Since the finish of my triathlon I finally got to running consistently again! But the main reason for the title is that I finally was able to get in touch with my small group leader from Auburn and I was also rummaging through some old notes I had received. A 262 mile run that I am looking forward to but am also dreading at the same time. Will I do well will I be conditioned .
