We are a congregation within the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney. And part of the Scottish Episcopal Church. Coffee and refreshments in the church hall follow the Sunday morning service and visitors are always made welcome. Many of our visitors come again on their next visit to Deeside.
The Chapel of St Ninian. Is located on the Mar Lodge Estate. A small Church seats 40 and the most Westerly Church in the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney. Built by Alexander Marshall McKenzie of Aberdeen 1898, stained glass by. Charles Eamer Kemp, London. We have a small faithful congregation which increases with regular viitors. Holy Communion alternates with Morning Prayer.
St Thomas More Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary. Primary School is located in Belmont, a residential area on the edge of Durham City. It is a happy and successful school. Primary is a good school with many strengths. It provides an effective education for its pupils and serves its community well. School exists as part of the mission. Of the newly renamed Parish of the Durham Martyrs.
The Coigne Nursery is a small charity-based nursery which has been at the heart of the community for nearly 20 years, based in the youth club building in the town of Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire.
