Sunday, January 2, 2011. Fried Chicken - A Tale of Two Ladies. This is hopefully the first post of a series about our trip to Savannah and Charleston. After a week in Savannah and Charleston, I have learned much about the south - I have stood in the fort where the American Civil War started, read about the secession of South Carolina from the Union and walked through cemeteries of Great Men. And I will get to all that because there is much to share. But right off the bat, I must talk fried chicken.

The site had the following in the homepage, "My husband and I went to Turkey last December." I noticed that the web site stated " Land Of The Rising Sun." They also stated " I just came back from the land where the most polite people on earth reside. I also got to see the grand Mt. Fuji up close! I got some Japanese Befco Beika Frontier Company crackers for souvenirs and google translate them if anyone is doubtful of the ingredients. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Neuseeland; das Land der langen weissen Wolke. It is so strange to be home. To be honest, it does feel so different. So far I have spoken just as much German as I do in Berlin since we have a Swiss Exchange student, Mattia. I have also tried speaking German to the Kiwis. ordered a coffee in German after arriving in NZ. We had a coffee at the Antarctic .
