This site focuses on the delightfully whimsical poetry of Gaius Valerius Catullus. In the Carmina section are a few translations that I undertook as a break from studying for finals during the end of Spring quarter 2003. The inspiration for this site comes from two sources. One is, of course, Catullus himself. The other is Aylene Rhiger Gripp, in whose class in the College of Creative Studies I had the chance to read Catullus and to discuss him in a free way for several weeks.
