For the second part of the story. I have always kept a diary. I never really had much to write in it, days out, bad times in work, the usual every day rubbish. In January 2015 things changed.
On December 25, 2011 in A Mothers Duty. I nodded my head as I bent over taking in gasping breaths, I saw them about 2 miles back on a side road. Claire hid behind my legs apprehensive of the strange men standing before us and the men went back to readying the boat for departure their faces somber with the news of the loss. On November 1, 2011 in A Mothers Duty.
2015 was a bad year. The government were experimenting with biological weapons and enhancements. The crazies of the world found out and bombed the labs. Me and my family made it through with the help of some new friends. Things were looking good for 2016. On 1st January 2016 I woke up alone.
Thursday, November 4, 2010. Saturday, September 18, 2010. My desire to get off work on time in order to go home and relax is a petty and privileged desire- being in Kayenta reminds me of that privilege every day. Monday, September 13, 2010. Monday, July 19, 2010. Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
Boy i have been a terrible blogger. i apologize to the 2. 5 people who were reading my blog on a regular basis. i was not sure why but then i talked to someone about my job. he asked me what i did and i said i am a fiction writer in my heart and my career is a communications director, writing marketing material etc. he laughed and said, so you are a fiction writer as a career as well.
YOU ARE, INDEED .
Just to take it off and put it on again. I look at those boys in trucks. And think how easy that must be. Boys are you ready for me.
