Life, as a type 1. This website has moved to thehealthypancreas. On March 11, 1995 when I was 7 years old I was told I have Type 1 Diabetes.

My life with Type 1 diabetes. Ignorance is bliss, or so they say. In some cases the not knowing can indeed be a great comfort and it most certainly cannot hurt you. So is it better to remain ignorant of the facts and continue on in your ignorance? So what is denial? A denial of something is a statement that it is not true, does not exist, or did not happen.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The weirdest low I have ever had. Thursday, July 16, 2015. Well, I know I could have. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. And then the 36 hour airport adventure and all the Googling on skin conditions I did had me convinced that I might have anything from dermatitis to psoriasis to scabies. Yep, I am a hypochondriac.

They also stated " My Insulin is Artisanal Water. Oh hi Im still alive, just buried under work and anatomy books. I came out of hibernation to vent! Isnt that fun!
