Occasionally in life, God presents a path that requires a leap of faith to travel. The trailhead looks very promising, but the trail further on is certain to be arduous and long. Those of us on the trail together are going to have to make it up as we go. Yet the vision toward which we travel is life-giving, and the journey will stretch the soul. September 2007 - June 2008.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. June was a fun, full month. We got right down to summer business once we got home from the beach. We headed to the pool as often as we could. We ate ice cream often as well. Avery participated in cheer camp at school and then proceeded to jump and tumble all around the house. Sam said goodbye to his crib! We spent the morning at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens with Katie and Parker. We read, read, read.

Vi har länge gått och suckat över vårt akvarium, att det var för litet och för svårt att hålla rent. Droppen blev när William av misstag råkade hälla i för mycket fiskmat i fredags kväll. På lördagen när han vaknade var vattnet i akvariet helt igengrott och fiskarna kippade efter luft.

With the passage of time, the inevitable aches and pains and other losses are apparent. They walk with slow and sometimes faltering steps, but I feel no cause to complain. My heart is full of gratitude, that I have been blessed to have them be a part of my life here for so many years. She could never keep a straight face, and always had a twinkle in her eye.

A new way to keep friends and family updated. Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Yesterday we had a gorgeous day out at Birka. First an hour boat ride on Lake Mälaren and then a guided tour of the archaeological findings on Birka. During the Viking Age, Birka located in Lake Mälaren, was an important trading center and is regarded the first town in Sweden.
