Saturday, 9 June 2012. I was tidying up some of my old junk up in the attic recently and came across a load of old colour slides, so I bought a scanner and transferred them to my PC. The Pass The Mic Cookout turned out to be a fantastic event showcasing some great local talent where we enjoyed wonderful food and shared the message of the project of Pass The Mic - to amplify youth voice in the community. We signed up 19 youth to participate in the Pass The Mic focus groups - the Cookout served a great purpose in accomplishing this.

Everyone is so excited about the Spring-type weather we are having. I wish I could be, but MS and warm weather do NOT go together. Wearing shorts and short-sleeve shirts are nothing new to me. I wear summer wear most of the year.
