A Small Beach, part 2. There was a faint glow in the darkness ahead. Raul kept moving, away from the bow, away from the crash zone. A high-pitched hum made itself known. The light grew, somewhere up ahead in the data pipe. He was a man, going by feel to an unknown end. The hull panged in the heat. It was a high-pitched whine, the atmosphere assaulting his ears now. Where was the data pipe? How long had he been gone? Heat washed ove.
