Welcome to the Washed Up Workshop in Tofino BC. I make art from marine debris sustainably harvested off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Marine debris is both a passion and a problem for me. As a park worker I remove it as garbage to protect the environment, yet as an artist I am inspired to treat it as a treasured material for creating art. Marine debris provides me with an endless palette of worn and weathered material which I use to create sculptures, wall hangings and installations.
