The Trams Are Coming! Click photo for larger version. Press Back button to return here. The end of August saw trams once again on the Streets on Ashton. After several years of line construction the system is ready for operations to start. After a period of testing the track in the small hours of the morning, daytime testing has started. The trams will begin passenger service from Ashton on 9th October 2013.

In early November, the city went and fetched back its partially renovated railcar from Alabama, where it spent five years in the yard of the Edwards Railcar Company, a professional restorer that specializes in trains.
