Wednesday, December 31, 2014. In lieu of the usual goal-setting frenzy our culture embraces every January, I borrowed an idea from a friend on setting a word of the year to help me focus overall actions on a word with deep meaning to me. This past year of 2014, that word was SUFFICIENT.

Stella is like any other 4yr old. She is getting settled in her first year in kindergarten, making new friends and learning all kinds of new things from her amazing teachers. She loves music - Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and One Direction are on constant rotation in our house. She loves her brother, mom, dad, and her dog. Stella has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. SMA destroys the nerves that control voluntary movement like crawling, walking, head and neck control and even swallowing.
