We had our final lecture today. The focus of the lesson was the Chinese economy. At one point in time the Chinese economy was the dominant market in the world. Now in the current times it is now one of the fast growing economies in the world, if not the fastest. The bus ride was not as long as I thought it would be. It was smoggy and humid but the temperature was nice outside. I think it was about 80 degrees today.
1 Ethical Issues in My Profession. As the United States becomes more of a global player, industries within the United States are obligated to hold the highest ethical and moral standards. Companies, especially ones like Lenovo and Hyundai, should make it a priority to supply their customers with high quality products that are manufactured with ethical and moral considerations in mind. As opposed to the liquor company, I saw that the facilities at Hyundai were far cleaner and a setting I was much more familiar with, when comparing the company to those of the United States. This company is far more globalized, and was a name I knew before coming to China, and I can conclude that it is possible that these facilities were cleaner and more efficient due to American influence. I believe that Lenovo is a prime .

Even though we traveled to another country to observe the differences of their companies it is apparent that Chinese companies are very similar to American companies. They are the same in a large variety of ways ranging from their ethics to their technology.
I was exhausted going to the airport but I knew I had to stay up another 8 hours until my flight left. A few friends stayed back with me for about 30 minutes before they had to board their flight as well. It was a really sad goodbye and I was consoled by the fact that we would all be together again in the fall. We all spent a lot of our money shopping, but considering the quantity of stuff we go.

Saturday, May 16, 2009. We had a great flight back from Munich! It was a great program, but I think everyone is happy to be home. Thursday, May 14, 2009. We have completed all of our company visits! It was a very packed week with 3 company visits in 3 consecutive days.
