This week has been science week and we were lucky to have Chris and Tom from the Sheffield Wildlife Trust. Continuing our topic of minbeasts and their habitats, we tried some pond dipping in the school grounds. The children and I were very excited to find some smooth newts, bio-valves and other rare creatures. The children worked hard to identify these and then placed them safely back in the pond. Our Visit from Jess at Yorkshire Water. On July 2, 2015. On Monday we were very fortunate to have the wonderful Jessica Lindquist from Yorkshire Water come in to run a science workshop.
