Personal Reflection on Art 160. I loved this class and all that it taught me. Before this semester I had science labs from 2-5 every other day, I completely dreaded them. But with this class, I never knew how time flew by. There were many moments of frustration and disappointment, but there were also moments of pride and a sense of accomplishments. When we did individual projects like the personal projects and the tiny animals I never compared mine because I knew my project .

Learning to think visually as opposed to quantitatively. Following my progress in introductory art class. I did both things, but I did not write blog entries for them, so I will describe them here. So I do not have an image to show. I wish that oil pastels had been used this semester, I have a lot of them and would really like to learn more about using them pr.

I spent making chalk dust a prepping my canvas for the self portrait. I began using the erasing technique on the charcoal paper. I try to focus and make it a meditative routine with relaxing slow paced music. I began with the whitest white spot on the tip of my nose and worked out from that with value changes of the shapes of the shadows.
