The site had the following in the homepage, "The class have been working hard on lots of different Numeracy activities." I noticed that the web site stated " They are real experts on the SEAL Stages for Early Arithmetical Learning skills and can explore these using a range of devices and materials." They also stated " It is also very clear at maths stations how much the class have improved their concentration and focus. We have been using a really fun ipad app called Maths Sumo! This week in maths we have been exploring symmetry! I was so impressed by the detail and accuracy of the patterns P1 created! Today we have been out in the garden looking for examples of symmetry in nature. We found logs, insects, leaves and flowers in the garden and noticed that a lot of the murals in the playground have symmetrical shapes too! This slideshow requires JavaScript. Outdoor Learning- Tollcross Canal Adoption. Our class has adopted The Union Canal! Through the John Muir Award we are learning to love and look after the natural world. These pictures show us learning water safety, investigating features on the canal, making a scavenged canal picture map, mysterious tiny fish, pigeons, ducks and ducklings and finally, our very own clay canal creatures. This gallery contains 4 photos.
The last post on the P5 blog- boo hoo! Today those of us who were in school made our own elderflower cordial from elderflowers we gathered by the canal less than 24 hours ago yesterday. Good luck in P6! HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYBODY! June 21, 2015. Thank you , boys! .
We recently had a girl called Cat come to our school to teach us a funky dance routine. Firstly she taught us to warm up, then the fantastically fun part came! While Uptown Funk was playing she showed us some brilliant moves! It was great fun! Finally she gave us a letter each about a dance camp which sounds amazing!
