The site had the following in the homepage, "What is Project Break Free? Capacity building through the art of Hip hop." I noticed that the web site stated " The purpose of the project is to inform, educate, enlighten, train and develop youth young men and women both in their physical frames and mentality through poetry, break dancing, graffiti etc." They also stated " We use the commercial appeal of hip hop to raise awareness in our community regarding AIDS, drug abuse, gangsterism etc. We provide an alternative culture to the above mentioned social ills that is rife in our community."
