Does correlation show causality? Furthermore a correlation could for example, show that people who smoke are averagely thinner. But there is no way to know if smoking actually causes people to be thinner. There could be a number of unaccounted for variables that could be the cause. For example it may be that people who smoke take more exercise to avoid even more of a health risk lifestyle. Or perhaps even are more concerned about their weight.
Intentionally killing someone is an extreme act to carry out. Even during wars soldiers can become traumatised by the killing of another human being, it goes against everything we are taught not to do as grow older, however, in a war it is often acceptable and soldiers are trained to cope with that environment.
