Sunday, March 11, 2018. Sunday Stash and QOV Flimsy. This was a productive week for me. I finished quilting the QOV quilt from last month and started hand stitching the binding down today while the snow was coming down. Lots of large, fluffy, wet snow clouds. I also took time to finish this QoV with the addition of a few borders to make it larger and made with a pillowcase and binding to match. It will now be ready for the group t.
I Must Be Off My Bobbin. Saturday, September 23, 2017. Quilts for Vets of Wayne County - Part 12. The quilt show was a huge success! All our efforts really paid off. Alligator bites anyone? Lots and lots of people showed up -. Beautiful Music performed by a bagpiper, we also had a gospel singer and a country band. We were able to get all the quilts hung on ropes between the trees. It was such a beautiful sight to see so many patriotic quilts.
