The time has come to farewell another year done. To welcome in the next 12 months, make those resolutions and reflect on what has been. So much has happened for us this year. My job is steady while my husband has just started his third due to unforgiving circumstances.
Words and pictures of my quilting life. Friday, June 12, 2015. I have many projects on the go, some slow and some really wanting to be finished soon. Sadly lacking time most weeks, and of course the neck problems of a machine quilter slow me down. A new but old project, my night group is having a Log Cabin quilt challenge, I have not started for several reasons- no energy, no time, lacking enthusiasm! But I found these old blocks- circa 1990 and decided that they could be joined to make the centre block.

My blogging life has sadly been lacking for a little while now. I have been mainly using my quilt page at facebook for a while now and I tend to keep that pretty well up-to-date. Long posts, short posts, photos and recipes. My glass is always half full although I definitely do not subscribe to the notion that the grass is greener on the other side.
Thursday, July 23, 2015. That Was a Week That Was. We thought we had been organised in using the back bedroom to store everything from the hall and bathroom but then the plumbers arrived. That meant emptying the airing cupboard too. And then they wanted the carpets and floorboards up as well. John was here alone as I had been rushed into hospital and so everything was moved rather quickly into the only room left, our bedroom! Well that was a bit of a mess.
