Sudah lewat beberapa hari, deadline tulisan artikel buat teman saya. Seperti yang sudah-sudah, masalah komitmen menulis saya ini bukan karena tidak adany ide. Begitu banyak ide yang ada di kepala, namun ternyata ga kunjung selesai satu pun tulisan. Terus terang, masalah awalnya saya sulit membahasakan ide saya. Bagaimana saya memilih gaya bicara. Mau terliat ilmiah, tapi kuatir terkesan membosankan dan berat.

Keep us from His balm to borrow. We will have strength to not yield. We will be able to quench the fire. And not get stuck in the mire. The Lord is our help and shield. For Him our faith will fruit yield.

And while my playing career was cruelly cut short by terminal mediocrity, there remain lots of things I like about watching football. The deft feet and apparent omniscience of skilled players like Messi, who seems to think, move and act two or three times faster than everyone else on the pitch. The drama of those moments where games, seasons, careers seem to turn. And the delicious pies they sell at games.
