Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Sunday, February 15, 2009. Last night I went to see a Johnny Cash impersonator. The opening band sang country songs which made me feel like I was back home. You could hear their New York accents behind their fake midwest twangs, which made me feel superior to them for some reason. So it was late in the game.
I had insurance and a salary. When I got here I would job search everyday, submit everyday, try everyday. Not a typo, singular. I never knew how much I would miss feeling independent. I tried to imagine, but nothing can quite prepare you for dependence. Here I have a crap for insur.

They also stated " There was a moment a few days ago that stopped me in my steps, sucked the air out of me for a moment. Not sure what happened, and the anxiety meds usually take care of that, but I realized who I am and where I am and what my chronological age is about to point at me and say, and I was breathless.
