I first joined the Mars team in March 2013. That was after a superbly frustrating 11 months or so working on the other team. Actually, planning teams in China can be quite the force to be reckon with. The Mars planning team is not a big team but at the peak, we probably had a staff strength of 20ish.

Kid A turned five recently and though we had his party a couple months ago with friends before departing Korea, we still had a bit of a celebration. A chinese import place that puts Walmart cheapness to shame. We spent another two hours waiting before my number came up, but luckily there was still space in my first choice class time. So, he is signed up for the whole year. The kids earned ice cream for that log wait.

Tuesday, 19 August 2014. Football is a shared experience, and yet the feelings it creates are deeply personal. Sometimes these feelings can be explained with facts and stats; at other times they seem irrational. I tried to accept change, I tried to rekindle the passion which I once felt.
