Well today has been a crazy day and this weekend may even be crazier.

My journey through the OCA course Understanding Visual Culture. The assignment asks for 3 examples of work in which the work of others is incorporated and three examples of work that appropriates, copies or references everyday objects and reuses them as works of fine art.

Sunday, March 15, 2009. Friday, March 13, 2009. Andean cross and the churches. We have seen many beautiful iglesias in Peru that had gold inside and beautifully painted murals. Some of the murals depicted heaven while others depicted a version of hell for nonbelievers. One church we visited was in Arequipa. Animals and animals and more animals. MY FAVORITE PART OF THE TRIP. Life has been somewhat overwhelming and busy though I have kept up with Facebook - just so easy and quick on my i-pad. Added to that we have been totally remodelling our main bathroom as the previous post shows. Nearly there but not quite.
