Unique contemporary glass art combining creativity, skill and the ancient craft of glassblowing. Through glass blowing processes I explore colour, texture and form to make glass vessels that induce an emotional response in each viewer. In a way the blown glass vessels are manifestations of emotions.
I have made a new video piece in response to the ancient ceramics collection at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, UCL as part of a residency with studio group Manifold. Our responses to the Museum include books, projection mapping, a drawing machine, ancient Egyptian bread baking kits. 2015 Ellie Doney site by Tim Jukes.
