The site had the following in the homepage, "Let the games begin! Final Robot To Be Assessed." I noticed that the web site stated " Our final design consisted of a two wheeled, rear wheel drive vehicle that used two cable ties as a pivot point for the front of the robot to rest." They also stated " The smooth plastic surface against the smooth arena gave us a low friction point of contact. Our robot, although it didnt look pretty, was a surprisingly solid design, that was easy to make, easy to fix, and very sturdy, surviving multiple falls off the arena onto the floor. Today we had the RoboSumo competition. The laser cut parts were only ready last night, due to problems with the machine. We spent a some time before the competition tweaking the program for the robot. Ed changed the timing so that it turned very quickly. The final code used in the competition can be seen on his blog. We faced Team 27, Mr Tractor, in the quarter final.
