The adventures of my life in the middle of corn fields. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Monday, September 19, 2011. You know how everything changes in the blink of an eye? Well it has happened again here at Anniversary Grove. We just got back from the foot doctor and Hubby has to have surgery on October sixth. In some ways that is good news, and of course there is always a down side. He cannot travel very long, nor can he sit very long without pain pills.
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This post is so overdue. Our youngest son, Richard Leif Erickson, graduated from Bemidji High School at the end of May 2015. Leif passed his Certified Nurses Assistant exam the Monday after graduation. He also received his certificate for Personal Care Attendant on June 29th. He plans to pursue a Registered Nurse degree. We are so PROUD of him! Here he is shown with the quilt the ladies of our church made for him.
Sunday, May 22, 2011. It was a long, cold winter in Minnesota this year an while we did a bunch of work in the house, I fell out of practice of posting. Now that the weather is nice, I am looking forward to getting back into the practice. At the edge of the lawn behind the chicken coop, where it meets the woods, I have started to build a rock wall with stones I find in the woods and out in the field.
I specialize in fiber art using the wool from my friendly flock of registered Bluefaced Leicesters and crossbred fiber sheep. Sunday, August 02, 2015.
