Well, yesterday was D-Day . or M-Day, as it was. Needless to say, it was no walk in the park. The atmosphere was electric and the entire race day was quite an experience. Out of the gate, I was smoking.
I feel like yesterday was just another long training run. It felt like I could run all day long! So I stop off and get back on the road pretty quickly. I am doing pretty good now and feeling.

On July 11th, I headed down to Chattanooga, TN to compete in the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon. The bike went really well. The course was very hilly but I ended up going fairly fast anyways. 5 mph faster than what I train at. I might have been going a little fast but this is something that I wanted to test.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Race went good, body ran real good, I dont know what to do with my hands." I noticed that the web site stated " Had some knee pain, no bigs, foot felt ok, inserts really helped." They also stated " Race experience was really cool and made me look forward to reading everyones shirts on marathon day.
