Saturday, April 3, 2010. I reject the belief that food is merely fuel for our bodies. In times of familial and emotional turmoil, the power of food becomes increasingly evident. Recently, my father got placed in intensive care, and it appears like he will be staying there for a few weeks. It goes without saying that the past few days have been trying. I have understood the importance of good food from a young age, and I attribute that to my dad.
