Sadly I returned home early from the 2015 yesterday. I had to visit the Doctors in Aviemore on Thursday, my first visit to a docs for over 20 years! He diagnosed a soft tissue infection in my lower left leg, the remedy. a course of antibiotics and at least 48hrs rest. Preferably with my leg elevated! I had enjoyed my 7days immensely, even the deluges! I shall publish some diary posts over the next few days. Friday, 1 May 2015.

Some have thick fur, some thin, some love wild weather, some hate the rain, and some even love wild camping with us. Camping with both Dixie and Tilly, we tried all sorts to keep them comfy. Nothing ever seemed either just right or straightforward, however.

A slow, meandering attempt to complete a round of all the MBA bothies in Scotland. Been a bit of a whirlwind week in which I have suddenly acquired a national profile. What can you do? The next day I spent over an hour on the phone, and the chat went amazingly well, and by mid afternoon I had also posed for some photos in the National Library of Scotland, trying to look bookish and learned. Hartsop 8th August 2 nite wild camp. Monday, 3 August 2015. A walk from Grasmere over the tops to Pike o Stickle and then back again. I thought id posted this vid before but couldnt see it,so here it is a trip across the middle of the Lakes and back. Weather was ok just a bit windy most of the day and nite.
