Over the past 4 weeks I have been on my third year prac. I was lucky enough to be placed in a fantastic year 4 class with two amazing supervising teachers. This proved to be a very beneficial prac for me as I feel like I have learnt a great deal of knowledge in such a short space of time. Being in charge of 50 students for the first time was a very daunting experience, however I quickly learnt the importance of consistent, quick behaviour management and enforcement.

Due to the nature of the story that we were telling as a group felt that just the piano itself was the appropriate instrument to use, despite testing it with drums, and shakers. As a group we thought that the composition we chose was appropriate for the story sensitive nature of the story that we were telling.
