Almost 2 months ago, our newborn baby girl was straight up healed by our awesome God. We want to give testimony to that and tell her story here. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though the waters roar and foam, and the mountains quake with their surging. Never in my life have I ever felt as devastated as I did in that moment.

The ramblings of a modern day dreamer. The music blared, the strobe lights were in full sway, to my right was a smoke machine set up in the aisle to create the right atmosphere. Oh, and did I mention I was at a Jesus conference? I was bothered, I was distracted, I was a little bit disgusted. All I could see was the facade, I was missing the Jesus. And there in my pity of self-righteousness, Jesus showed up. As humans, and probably more so .

Life is too short to play it safe! I love discipleship because secretly we all want to be known and I want to know people. Long rides in Africa make you do weird things! I love Jesus a lot.
