To this blog, and a wrap-up of my year of service as a YAV. May God give my friends strength for today and hope for tomorrow. From Thursday to Sunday this past weekend, I attended the YAV. Transition Retreat at Ghost Ranch. We had small groups where we could share our stories.
Thursday, July 12, 2012. I bettered my Spanish by a mile. I attended a wedding, a funeral, and a college graduation. I ate guinea pig and alligator. I visited Machu Picchu with my family. I completed the Inca Trail with Sean and Mary. I did a bike tour through Lima. I attended the biggest Holy Week celebration in all of Peru.
I admit that this blog idea is stolen from the most recent blog. Of my fellow Peru YAV, Hannah. The spark and pop emitted from the outlet when you plug in any sort of electronics no longer makes you jump.

They also stated " Of course the kids were adorable, but they could be little monsters when they wanted to be. In my first two months, I was scratched, bitten, had my hair pulled, and was peed on.
