Solidarity statement with occupations around the UK. Continued attacks on students for fighting for their rights will not silence us. Just this week we have seen ten universities go into occupation over.
Following the recent scandal over executive expenses at Newcastle University, a demonstration is planned for 12pm on Thursday 17th March. The demonstration will take place outside the Kings Gate building. Posted by Newcastle University Occupation. Thursday, 3 February 2011.
Nottingham Students Against Fees and Cuts! We will fight and we will win! OccupyNotts in 36th day of Occupation of Old Market Square, Nottingham. And other local organizations in solidarity with the liberation movement around the world. Tonight, in the 36th day of Occupation, campers and city residents held a candlelight vigil in solidarity with Egyptian civilians in Tahrir Square who were attacked by and are currently engaged in a tense standoff with Egyptian armed forces.
