War has raged in the Middle East for many decades, causing almost irreversible damage to many countries. Western news-channels concentrate on the loss of human lives, which are quite rightly significantly important in determining the scale of the conflict. However lurking in the shadows of the war in the Middle East lies another story. I am proposing to make a news documentary highlighting situations where animals have fallen victim at the hands of the brutal wars in the Middle East.

Every day, thousands of desperate Zimbabweans cross the border to South Africa, seeking escape from economic meltdown, political turmoil and the complete failing of their health system.
