The site had the following in the homepage, "It is almost a year since I started this blog." I noticed that the web site stated " I am still here and I am still searching for my Maori past." They also stated " The search itself goes in cycles, when I get around to it, every time I sit down and start reading up on Maori history, ancestry and culture I seem to lose myself. It is like a story, a story written by someone else and I am trying to find all the missing pieces and write the ending, all this without knowing the original author."
