The purpose of my action research is to increase the self-awareness and self esteem of the youth group at my church. What would happen if I had my youth group understand the importance of healthy self-esteem and how they viewed themselves? What if the youth in the group were taught how to exercise self-awareness? What if they were empowered to build self-awareness and self-esteem? .
