6C! Since I last posted I have been back to the UK for a very long overdue visit to see my family which was really fantastic but not so much for photography as the weather, considering it was the northern hemisphere summer, was diabolical! As always click in for a more detailed view.
I really like these flowers for their 3 dimensional nature and as summer winds down I really wanted to post another wildflower photo. Taken up high in rustlers gulch near Crested Butte, CO. We did not stay long enough to see the outcome, but this crab looks to be on the menu for a vibrant purple sea stars breakfast. Small Fish in a Big Pond. A Red-tail Hawk that was sitting on a power line along the road that I was traveling home on from work in Vestal NY. I stopped and took a few images of him before he took-off and moved farther back down the road. A Wild Lilly plant from my back yard but they pretty much grow all over the place hear along the country roads and highways. I personally love these beautiful orangey flowers.
