New Music for guitar and percussion. Recently, my good friend Aaron Quinn. Was in town for a gig with his Surf Rock band, the Hypnotides. We expect to be performing by this summer. New year, new band.

My sister emailed photos from the last two weeks we were all together. I was foolish enough to open the album in the office. Ahhh, sooo cute! Is that REALLY what my hair looked like? It was 2am. the day before? Yup Without Dad. Even though he loved that place. Ow did we smile on that day? You can smile and be sad, you know. Musta been because of the kids.

Sunday, October 28, 2012. Passing me now is a campus couple. A campus couple in Korea is a couple wearing the same thing- the same sweatshirt, same hat or sometime even the same shoes. I guess they have campus couples in Japan too! Or maybe they are also headed back to Korea. Stewardesses pass, either having just arrived off a flight or heading toward one that is departing. If they work for an Asian airline, you would never know the difference because of their high level of professionalism.
I have never forgotten the way those first few months panned out. The awkward first phone call, the songs I first sent her, the late-night Skype chats that ended at dawn. I have never forgotten how she became my best friend first. And how we hardly slept and fell in love that first night. How she believes in me. How she has stuck by me and taught me what it is to be loyal. How she tells me that I can do anything - and I believe her. I love you, K.
