However, I am not distressed by what I am seeing in my garden lately. I have been working on my pottery for about 3 years. Learning, learning, learning, and while I am not done learning, I can finally take a time to pay attention to other things. Everything in my garden now is tough.

Training and, sadly, said no to The Oxpecker. I am not sorry that I stayed on Jhb for my class but I am really sorry to have missed a great run and a fantastic weekend away with friends. Thursday, August 13, 2015. The flower and fruit of the crabapple tree in the Upper Garden have remained a feature in the garden since we bought the house in 1989. Unfortunately, by the end of the season, most of the leaves have become diseased and fallen off the tree. To help hide the unsightly foliage late in the season, I planted Clematis tangutica. The nodding lantern-shaped yellow flowers are a beautiful contrast to the shiny red crabapples.
