Dartmoor is often described as the last wilderness in southern England, a bleak and remote granite upland which is home to wildlife and little else. In fact, the Dartmoor landscape was created by thousands of years of human activity. The museum tells the story of people on Dartmoor from prehistoric settlement to 20th century mining and hill farming.

Museiföreningen är en ideell förening vars vision är att skapa ett visningsbart brandmuseum. I väntan på lokal har vi denna sida, där vi kan dela med oss en del av brandkårens historia till allmänhet och anställda i förbundet. Äldre brandbilar och föremål är idag utplacerade på brandstationerna i Storgöteborg och vid olika evenemang använder vi de körbara veteranbrandbilarna för att visa hur brandkåren en gång såg ut. Tidigare fanns ett brandmuseum på Lundby brandstation som skapades 1984.
