On October 7, 2016. Trust in dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. Yesterday was National Poetry Day. And all around the country readings, poetry slams and open mic sessions took place. The theme this year was messages. One of the authors, Michaela Morgan. Who I follow on facebook, secretly left poems in envelopes on the seats of a train heading North from St Pancras.

We spent the rest of the day here, watching the Roxy surf competition and stuffing our faces with Rick Stein fish and chips and Cornish ice cream. I bumped into fellow writer Lisa Glass on the beach too for a natter. The sun is shining this morning.
