Shedding the Stigma is a grassroots movement dedicated to shedding the stigma surrounding military mental health issues including PTSD, depression, and anxiety, while encouraging those who suffer to seek help. While Veterans make up only 10 of the U.S. population, they sadly account for 20 of all suicides. Yet many people continue to tip toePARSED CONTENT

I noticed that the web site stated " Additionally, we need to educate our non-military peers in the importance of compassion, understanding, and empathy."
