Art education includes secondary and post secondary courses, classes under local artists, workshops, paint groups, life drawing sessions and a mentor relationship with a lovely woman who taught me to love the process of art and appreciation for the end result of hard work. Presently, I enjoy pen and ink and watercolour, pastels, and acrylics. Favourite subjects include landscapes, animals and people reflecting soft intimate moments to dramatic and unusually observed scenery.

Barbara Mahoney has been involved with art all of her life. Her earliest classes began at the Windsor YWCA and Willistead Coach House with Sergio DePaoli. Later on she studied Chinese Watercolour Techniques with Alice Hsieh , Ning Yeh and Diana Kan. watercolour painters Jack Reid, Ariel Lyons, Brian Atyeo and Art Cunanan.

For the love of dog. If you had asked me six months ago if I was going to get another dog anytime soon, I would have said no. I had my two remaining pack members and had decided I would just love them. An innocent post on Facebook led me to our fourth German Shepherd and a new member of our pack.
