Tuesday, October 1, 2013. 19 years ago tonight, Matt and I were dancing our hearts out with friends and family at our wedding reception.
The kids wanted to go outside and ride their bikes, but I have to study for my chemistry test this evening. I could go sit outside and sit in a lawn chair, but then my chemistry books would end up in a heap beside the chair because it is too nice to sit outside and study. So they are in the living room taking apart a boat load of pens so they can put them back together. It is what it is.
So yes, here I am. Many, many moons later. We have made the decision to keep Owen, Avery and Ethan at home next year. Lots of tears and prayers and sweating and conversations went into making what we believe is the best choice. The kids are pumped, my letter of resignation sent, and the countdown begins! The site had the following in the homepage, "Painted and for the most part done." I noticed that the web site stated " I bragged so much about those curtains, and didnt even show you." I am among a small group of women who excitingly received Home Depot gift cards from their husbands for Christmas. It took just 100 to get me in full blown re-do mode. Monday, January 12, 2015. Pax turned 4 and had been requesting for months a Spider Man birthday Party! This is out of my element completely but it was still so fun to decorate for him! They winner got a small Spider-Man toy I bought on sale at Target. As far as decoration went, I kept it simple using red and blue table cloths with streamers going over them and some balloons on top. Monday, November 10, 2014. So in an effort not to rob my kids of a real silly putty experience we tried again. 1 whole bottle of 8oz glue. then add a few drops of food coloring and stir. The green was our second attempt! .
