I have better pics of the designs of the yellow and pink veils. The yellow one was my first attempt, which I folded wrong but everyone still seems to like it.

I created rosettes, which I then attached to a quilted piece. Dyed fabric rosettes on cotton quilted piece.

Here are close-ups of all of my prints and a picture of my binding technique. Being a good friend, I decided to clean it up for her and I thought you all might enjoy the before and after pictures.

And the hand paws have been cut and just need to be sewn together. And the feet are assembled, just need to be covered in fur.

This has compelled me to weave texts that are excerpts from our time spent together. The sketches and Ideas for My Independent Study of the 2012 Spring Semester. There are a couple of different factors that have caused me not to pursue traveling such as school, money, time and language. As I desire to overcome these trivial barriers between cultures, I will be constructing three art quilts that focus on very broad conceptual barriers that we think of as being obstacles on the earth. Finally for the third quilt, I am focusing on the boundaries and borders that we draw fo.
