Friday, August 15, 2008. As I sit in the Bogota International terminal I realize that I have come full circle. February 1st I was laying on the floor across the hall for 9 hours as I anticipated the throngs of Rio, stumbling and mumbling as I tried to comunicate with airport workers over the location of an ATM. The site had the following in the homepage, "Reggae bars, jam spaces, and 7 am river sunrises beside the rambla sand." I noticed that the web site stated " Although Monday met me with ojera eyes bags, it was well worth it." They also stated " We take all energy too much for granted. Its bizarre to think Ive been in Latin America since the doldrums of February. But really good things are happening now. Wednesday, January 2, 2008. 4 boneless, Chicken Breasts, skinned. 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed. 1 Cut each chicken breast into 3 width ways and place the chicken in a large shallow dish, sprinkle with the garlic and pour lime juice over all. Refrigerate up to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
