Tuesday, February 03, 2009. We were able to book a direct flight. That is always a big plus to me. Then we booked a great hotel - The Willard. The Willard is just a few blocks from the White House so it was not only a great accommodation, with a great room and turn down service to boot, but it was so convenient. I love being able to walk out of the hotel and walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go. The next morning we got up and walked over to the Smithsonians.

A rua se silenciou quando um sedan preto virou a esquina e desapareceu. Umas mariposas se assanhavam ao redor da luz amarelada do único poste da rua, que iluminava os muros grafitados. Era uma rua de subida cansada. No topo, havia a descida para o outro lado.
